After a routine traffic stop, a police officer in East Liverpool, Ohio brushed a white substance off his uniform. Unfortunately, it wasn't a harmless substance: it was fentanyl, an incredibly potent opioid. Fentanyl, even in tiny doses, is much more dangerous than other opioids. It can stop breathing very quickly. Luckily, in this case a dose of Narcan was able to stop the officer's accidental overdose.
