Inner Vision™ operates within the general hospital as a contractual agreement between SpecialCare and the client hospital. SpecialCare offers flexible contractual options related to Inner Vision with the emphasis on the care of the dually diagnosed or the mildly psychiatric patient.

Options available are:

• Outreach referral development activities for an existing service to increase community awareness and census

• Complete management of a new or existing service

• Assistance in the development and/or start-up of a new service

• Management of a select portion of an existing service

The services most commonly are located on a locked unit or similar controlled environment. Medical care for Inner Vision™ patients would be provided by a designated Inner Vision™ Medical Director (a psychiatrist) and hospital psychiatric staff. Service development could include a variety of treatment modalities such as group therapy sessions, individualized one-to-one sessions, activity/recreational therapy and family sessions. Inner Vision™ has been designed to provide treatment in a comprehensive, flexible and individualized setting. This setting allows the patient to be effectively stabilized in an urgent situation with the most appropriate utilization of resources.
