New Vision™ is an inpatient medical stabilization that treats patients with drug alcohol and other related health issues. Follow-up and referral services are also provided, in order to begin to address some of the personal, family, and employment issues impacted by the disease.

Stabilization treatment services will be provided to those persons experiencing impending or active withdrawal. The average length of stay is three days.

The service is managed and directed in that it targets referral services both from the immediate and surrounding area including but not limited to friends, family, employees, employee assistance programs, social service agencies, physicians, private practitioners, and local hospitals.

Clinically, the withdrawal symptoms are treated with medication protocols specific to the substance the patient is withdrawing from. These are administered by a qualified physician in conjunction with a professional nursing staff and ancillary services support staff.

The New Vision™ staff provide intake and referral services. Upon completion of medical stabilization for withdrawal, the patient can actively participate in their ongoing plan for recovery. The New Vision™ staff and the patient work together to determine the appropriate level of post discharge care necessary for a successful outcome.

SpecialCare provides a turn-key service consisting of organization and administrative services, recommended policies and procedure, clinical audits, financial review and quality improvement activities related to the New Vision™ service.
