New Vision™ is a medically supervised, hospital-based service for adults experiencing impending or active withdrawal from alcohol, opioids including prescription medications and heroin, and/or certain other drugs.

New Vision™ at Wood County Hospital provides withdrawal treatment for the communities of northwestern Ohio. Our patients come from Bowling Green, Toledo, Perrysburg, Findlay, Fremont, and Fostoria, as well as other surrounding communities.

New Vision™ is safe, confidential, compassionate and reliable care with a typical stay of 72 hours for people who qualify. 

Individualized and compassionate services include:

  • Comprehensive pre-screening.
  • Medical Stabilization and withdrawal relief with 24 hour monitoring by a doctor, nurses and other care professionals.
  • Individualized discharge planning with client involvement.
  • Most insurance plan accepted.
